Claim Buddy is an AI-powered assistant that helps healthcare billing teams decode CARC (Claim Adjustment Reason Codes) and RARC (Remittance Advice Remark Codes). The tool simplifies the process of understanding claim denials and provides clear explanations, likely causes, and practical resolution steps.
By combining structured code data with AI-generated explanations, we turned complex insurance codes into actionable guidance, reducing claim resolution time from minutes to seconds.
The Problem
Medical billers face long delays resolving claim denials because each code requires manual lookup, interpretation, and context-specific analysis. Traditional tools are static and provide little clarity on next steps.

- •Built a Supabase RPC function (match_claimbuddy_by_code) returning JSON objects containing group codes, reason codes, and descriptions
